Well folks, you don't find places like this very often. I recently moved into my dream space, which is a beautiful, old, former Temple build in 1935 that is now a private home with two units in it surrounded by bushes of lilac. Tons of history throughout the building. A claw-foot tub with two chandeliers in the bathroom. Sonos wifi speakers throughout.
This is one of the most unique places in Colorado and is sure to make your time here exceptional.
A blend of modern and eclectic, you can be sure you've never stayed in a space quite like this one before. The place is divided into two separate units, if you will, like a duplex. The clubhouse on the bottom level would be your private unit, which is 3k sq ft. The upstairs unit occasionally hosts curated, private events throughout the week, many of which you are welcome to participate in!
Guests have access to the entire downstairs 3000 sq ft unit which has both a shared entrance and a private entrance. The shared entrance foyer has a bathroom available for guests as well. I live on on the balcony above the main temple unit, and our two resident Artists and caretakers stay upstairs on site as well. Events in the main temple unit are common (yoga classes, movie screenings, underground supper clubs, etc, about once a week), so know you have a cool upstairs neighbor that always invites you to fun events. Some will be private events, others will be open for participation. We'll send you all activities that are happening during your stay before your arrival, so you can plan accordingly. My house is your house, so if the curtain in the foyer is open, feel free to explore and come say hi and we can show you around the space. When we need our privacy in the main space we will have the curtain drawn. (Please Note: for security purposes, we have a camera on the front door and within the temple unit in the main room). On a case by case basis we allow access to the upstairs kitchen.
I grew up in Denver, have lived in LA, NY, Buenos Aires, and beyond, and host many events around town that focus on food, drink and nightlife, so can either give you recommendations for where to go or take you out on the town. Either way. I am here for as much or little interaction as you like.
A quick scan through the photos, and you'll discover what makes this place unique. A converted temple, this space is overflowing with character. Sneaky nooks and alcoves, filled with treasures collected from near and far; this place is sure to inspire you.
