We won't make you learn the secret knock, but this speakeasy themed apartment is sure to make your visit to Chicago so enjoyable. The decor says 1920's, but the amenities are all brand new! Designed by renowned local designer, Jules Gathman, you'll be delighted by our attention to detail. What a great location. Within 100 feet of the front door are a number of places to eat, drink, and socialize. Located in the hot "California Corridor" neighborhood, we are 2 blocks from a 209 acre Park!
The Spot
As you can tell from the pictures, we decorated our apartment to look like a 1920's prohibition era speakeasy. We looked high and far for authentic decor to match our theme! And although the theme is 1920's, we have all new modern amenities. Brand new appliances in the kitchen, a full cable package and netflix, a Klipsch sound bar that can connect to any of your devices over bluetooth, and a Nest thermostat are all there to make your stay comfortable! We also have smart locks, and we'll give you a personal code so that you don't need to worry about carrying around a key!
Guest Access
The apartment is 2 bedrooms with a king bed in one room and a queen bed in the other. The couch can be converted to a sleeper, and we have an air mattress as well.
Other Stuff
Please note that there are tenants that live in the same building. After 10 PM please respect their peace by not being too loud.
Please note that there is an additional cleaning charge of $25 for leaving dirty dishes behind for the cleaning crew.
Also, if you do not follow the 11AM checkout rule and the cleaning crew has to wait for you to vacate there will be a $25 fee. If there is a prenegotiated late check out this will not apply.
